USN group to Chief Storekeeper Patrick J. Cleary. Cleary served on the USS Salem 1908 to 1912 (Where he had a number of disciplinary problems that prevented him from receiving a Good Conduct Medal for this enlistment.)

USS Virginia 1912 to 1916 (GCM and Mexican Service Medal)
USS America 1917 to 1919 (WWI Victory with Transport bar)
USS Chester 1919 to 1921 (bar for GCM)

Cleary retired in 1922 but returned to active duty for WWII.

All medals are in very good condition. With the medals are 60 page of records that were scanned from Cleary's Navy service file in St. Louis. These will be provided on cd-rom.
